Designer-Draughtsman (M/F)

Steel Construction

In this versatile role, you will be involved at the heart of projects, from technical design to their realisation. You will prepare plans, coordinate the various stages and ensure the link with production and assembly, while bringing your expertise and solutions to the challenges encountered.

Main responsibilities

• Design technical solutions adapted to the specificities of each project and produce the necessary approval and execution plans
• Analyse technical needs and constraints in order to propose relevant and feasible constructive solutions
• Prepare all the technical documents and files necessary for the manufacturing and assembly of the structures
• Prepare and monitor equipment orders in collaboration with purchasing, while ensuring compliance with supply deadlines
• Plan and organise the various production and assembly tasks to ensure smooth progress and continuity of operations in collaboration with the Project Manager
• Carry out surveys and measurements on site and adapt plans according to the realities encountered in the field
• Identify and anticipate potential technical or production difficulties and proactively propose suitable solutions
• Actively participate in continuous improvement by proposing optimisations to gain efficiency, quality and control of deadlines and costs

Your profile

• You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a metal draughtsman-designer or an equivalent qualification
• You have proven experience in drawing and design in steel construction
• Comfortable with technical design and execution drawing, you work with precision and rigour
• Your autonomy and sense of initiative allow you to manage your files in a structured and proactive manner
• You work in an organised and methodical way. Proficiency in CAD tools, as well as good skills with MS Office, are part of your competencies
• Solution-oriented, you enjoy understanding technical issues and contributing concretely to their resolution
