Strategic Technical Buyer 100% (m/f/d)
Our client is an established Swiss technology company with a strong international focus. The company develops and manufactures technically sophisticated machines and systems, combining modern technologies with high manufacturing and development expertise. Responsibilities:
You define procurement strategies for selected technical product groups.
You select, evaluate, and further develop international suppliers.
You conduct contract and price negotiations considering total costs.
You examine new procurement technologies together with internal development departments.
Using key figures and analyses, you prepare decision-making bases.
You implement optimisation projects along the procurement and supply chain.
You coordinate the procurement of prototypes and new developments on a project basis.
In cross-departmental projects, you take on project management or collaboration roles.
Qualifications:
Technical apprenticeship with further education in business administration at HF or FH level.
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing within a technical industrial environment.
Knowledge of supply chain management and modern procurement methods.
Experience with data analysis, key figures, and digital purchasing solutions.
Practical experience in leading and implementing projects.
Confident demeanour as well as strong negotiation skills and assertiveness.
Analytical, independent working style with high initiative.
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
