Junior Civil Engineer in Civil Engineering (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 90,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a motivated professional to start in civil engineering site management. You will support the realisation of demanding infrastructure projects and gradually take responsibility for scheduling, quality, costs and execution. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and authorities and have the opportunity to develop your expertise in a targeted manner. The position offers a practical entry into site management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
Support of site management in demanding civil engineering and infrastructure projects
Assistance in coordinating and monitoring construction execution
Control of schedules, quality and work progress on site
Support in coordinating contractors, suppliers and specialist planners
Review of execution plans, specifications and technical documents
Assistance with measurements, reports, construction billing and change order management
Support in construction meetings and preparation of project documentation
Monitoring compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements
Assistance with tenders, bids and awards
Gradual assumption of own site management tasks and smaller projects
Qualifications:
Completed training in construction, ideally as a draughtsperson EFZ in civil engineering, bricklayer EFZ or comparable
Further training as a technician HF in construction planning, site manager or comparable qualification is an advantage
Initial professional experience in civil engineering, road construction or structural engineering
Knowledge of construction execution, construction administration and technical planning documents
Good knowledge of CAD and common construction administration systems is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
