Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH

At the Inselspital, the University Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine operates the Central Recovery Room with 26 beds on a 24-hour basis, the Paediatric Recovery Room with 5 beds, as well as the Recovery Room of the Women’s Clinic with 12 beds, which are operated during daytime from Monday to Friday. In our highly acute and complex care area, your deployment will be based on your training and will primarily take place in the paediatric or adult recovery room. For the paediatric focus, it is expected that you also regularly rotate in the adult recovery room.

What to expect

• In this demanding role, you will take on the care, monitoring and appropriate pain therapy of pre- and postoperative patients according to the latest scientific findings
• You will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and operate modern medical technology aids
• You will coordinate patient processes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary involved parties

What you bring

• You are a qualified nursing specialist, preferably with further training in monitoring care / IMC or the willingness to complete this
• In addition, you are a reliable and professionally competent individual with at least one year of professional experience in an acute area
• You enjoy a varied and dynamic activity in a university highly acute setting and are ready to grow with us as well as actively shape the change and challenges of our time
