Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Geriatric Psychiatry, Consultation and Liaison Service

Your Tasks
- Conducting nursing assessments and professional evaluations of older people with complex psychiatric or organic brain disorders in home and institutional settings
- Conducting nursing consultations, care rounds and case discussions as well as advising nursing and care teams in challenging situations
- Advising and supporting patients and relatives in dealing with mental illnesses in old age
- Planning and conducting training and professional development for nursing and care teams
- Promoting interprofessional collaboration between institutions, outpatient services and psychiatric specialists
- Contributing to the professional, conceptual and strategic development of the consultation and liaison service within the framework of dual leadership
Your Profile
- Master of Science in Nursing (MScN)
- Professional experience in psychiatric nursing, ideally in geriatric psychiatry
- Strong clinical expertise as well as enthusiasm for counselling, coaching and knowledge transfer
- Interest in evidence-based nursing practice and quality development
- Strong communication skills, interprofessional thinking and an integrative personality
- Independent, structured and reflective working style
