About the job
CareStudy is the training centre of the Stiftung Gesundheitsförderung Bad Zurzach + Baden. We are undergoing a strategic realignment: moving away from merely purchasing courses towards developing our own educational formats and learning pathways for health professions. This position is a key role. You will lead CareStudy through a transformation — building an organisation that no longer just reacts but shapes. You will work directly with the executive management of the foundation group and bear full responsibility for results.
Your Responsibilities
You will lead CareStudy entrepreneurially — strategically, economically and in terms of personnel. You are not a caretaker of an existing offering but the architect of a new CareStudy.
- Strategic portfolio management: Decide what CareStudy offers, expands, discontinues — based on market, demand and contribution margin
- Economic responsibility: Accountable for CareStudy’s P&L, manage utilisation and contribution margins, achieve growth targets (10–15% per year)
- Team leadership: Lead, develop and empower portfolio managers and assistants — clear responsibilities, clear KPIs, clear feedback
- Drive own development: Coordinate the creation of own course concepts and learning pathways — CareStudy develops its own IP instead of just purchasing
- B2B and partnerships: Acquire institutional clients (hospitals, nursing homes, companies) and build cooperations
- Manage interfaces: Oversee marketing, finance, HR and IT of the foundation group as shared services
- Reporting and governance: Regular reporting to executive management, ensure quality standards (eduQua)
Your KPIs - Target Figures
- Revenue and growth 10-15% growth per year
- Utilisation of core formats Target value to be defined jointly
- Contribution margin per course Positive contribution margin at portfolio level
- Share of own development 20% own formats by Q1 2027
- eduQua - conformity Quality standards maintained
- Team satisfaction and stability Turnover, feedback, clarity of decisions
Your Profile
- Leadership experience in further education, educational management or a comparable service organisation
- Entrepreneurial thinking: you are comfortable with numbers, contribution margins and growth responsibility — and you make decisions
- Experience in building or realigning an organisation — you know that change requires energy, clarity and consistency
- Knowledge in adult education and educational formats; didactic background or affinity is an advantage
- Market knowledge in health and therapy sectors — or the ability to quickly familiarise yourself and build a network
- Strong communication skills internally and externally: you can inspire a small team and simultaneously convince institutional partners
- You are someone who also makes uncomfortable decisions and communicates clearly and fairly
Your Interfaces
You report directly to the executive management of the foundation group and coordinate with:
- Executive management foundation group: strategy, governance, reporting
- Portfolio managers (2 persons): professional leadership, prioritisation, resources
- Portfolio assistant: standards, quality, escalations
- Marketing, finance, FM, HR, IT (shared services): management and coordination
- Fundraising / B2B: partnerships, institutional offerings
What we offer
- Full entrepreneurial responsibility — you shape, not just manage
- An organisation on the rise: you do not join a finished structure but help build it
- Direct collaboration with the executive management of the foundation group on equal footing
- Integration in a solid foundation group with infrastructure (marketing, IT, finance, HR)
- Market-appropriate remuneration and modern working conditions
