The Municipality of Montreux is advertising a position for a:

Main tasks:

• Welcome and guide users at the fixed waste disposal site and mobile waste disposal sites
• Maintain order and cleanliness at the waste disposal site and ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding waste treatment
• Sort, process and store materials at the waste disposal sites
• Manage various administrative tasks
• Carry out tasks related to the transfer zone
• Design and lead awareness workshops on waste management and reduction
• Recover and dispatch waste

Desired profile:

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a recycler or in another technical profession
• Significant first experience in a similar position
• Good writing skills
• Strong sensitivity to environmental protection and sustainable development
• Interpersonal skills, public service orientation, welcoming attitude, listening skills and proven relational ease
• Ability to communicate clearly, precisely, with tact and courtesy
• Flexibility, autonomy, organisational skills and practical sense
• Initiative, ability to withstand pressure
• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools
• Good physical condition

Special conditions:

• Holder of a driving licence for light vehicles (category B), a forklift licence and a machine operator licence (M7 sorting shovel) is an advantage
• Work some Saturdays according to service organisation (annual planning based on a rota)
