Our client in the canton of Baselland is a worldwide market leader for automated workflows and services in laboratories. The company develops and produces highly precise high-tech systems for customers from the pharmaceutical, chemical, paint and varnish industries, personal care, the food industry as well as for universities and research centres.
To strengthen the assembly team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed specialist for a temporary assignment with the option of permanent employment.

Job Description

• You assemble and wire standard as well as customer-specific small electrical assemblies according to drawings, electrical schematics and assembly instructions.
• You take on wiring, soldering and mechanical assembly of high-tech modules. The work ranges from delicate individual parts to complete assemblies.
• You install company-specific software and drivers.
• You test and commission assemblies according to test instructions.
• You carry out internal and external repairs including fault finding and final testing. This accounts for around 20 percent.
• You build prototypes in close cooperation with development.
• You support the commissioning team during customer acceptance tests (FAT).

We expect

• You have completed training as an automation technician, automatic assembler or mechatronics technician. Alternatively, you have verifiable professional experience in a comparable environment.
• You have several years of experience in assembly, wiring and commissioning of machines, systems or devices.
• You have a good technical understanding and work in a structured and quality-conscious manner.
• You work independently, are resilient and flexible. Teamwork is natural for you.
• You are familiar with MS Office.
• You speak German. English skills are an advantage.
