Interdisciplinarily, we work closely with our colleagues from Direct Taxes, Legal, Auditing and Fiduciary services. VAT Expert (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your impact

• You answer complex queries on national and international VAT in an interdisciplinary environment
• You are primarily responsible for mandates from the industrial, public sector, NPO and real estate sectors
• You assess complex VAT matters, prepare expert opinions and support VAT audits, legal proceedings and due diligence reviews
• You manage fiscal representation mandates (foreign companies with VAT obligations in Switzerland)
• You maintain existing client relationships sustainably and personally; furthermore, you participate in marketing activities and offers
• You contribute to the organisation and execution of seminars or conferences and bring your own ideas and concepts into the planning
• You act as an interface to the international BDO network, answer VAT-specific queries and maintain your international contacts

What makes you successful

• With your at least 5 years of professional experience and your profound VAT expertise, you are an important part of our VAT service as a whole and actively participate in its continuous development
• You hold a Master of Advanced Studies in VAT law or tax law (LL.M. at a university of applied sciences) or are on the way to obtaining it
• You enjoy dealing with complex VAT matters, share your knowledge with the team as well as cross-departmentally and keep yourself continuously updated on VAT legal changes
• In our international environment, you can apply your excellent German and English skills daily; additional foreign languages, especially French, are very welcome with us
• You are a responsible, open and authentic consulting personality and enjoy working with people
• Together with the team, you want to contribute to the further success of the company
