Job Description
Your tasks
- Your activity will be mainly divided between finishing work (70%) and varnishing and lacquering work (30%).
- 70% - Finishing work
- Carrying out finishing work on joinery elements, furniture and interior fittings.
- Sanding, scuffing, surface preparation and treatment.
- Adjustments, touch-ups and quality control of the work.
- Preparation of parts before varnishing or lacquering.
- Carrying out neat finishes meeting high quality standards.
- 30% - Varnishing and lacquering
- Application of varnishes, lacquers and other finishing products.
- Preparation of products and adjustment of spraying equipment.
- Achieving uniform and quality finishes.
- Checking colours, appearance and treated surfaces.
- Maintenance of equipment and compliance with safety instructions.
- Versatility in the workshop - Manufacturing and interior fitting
- Beyond your main activity, you must be able to intervene, according to production needs, in all traditional workshop joinery tasks, notably:
- Manufacture and assembly of furniture and bespoke interior fitting elements.
- Making furniture, cupboards, wardrobes, kitchens and other interior fittings.
- Reading and interpreting technical and manufacturing plans.
- Cutting, machining, shaping, assembling and adjusting wood and wood-based elements.
- Use of traditional joinery machines and equipment.
- Complete realisation of works, from preparation to finishing.
Profile sought
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a joiner, cabinetmaker or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in workshop joinery and interior fitting manufacturing.
- Excellent mastery of finishing, varnishing and lacquering techniques.
- Strong skills in furniture manufacturing and bespoke fittings.
- Good command of workshop production machines and tools.
- Ability to work completely autonomously, from reading plans to final realisation.
- Versatile, precise, organised and detail-oriented person.
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility and pride in a job well done.
