Assistant to the Purchasing and Maintenance Manager

Unimed SA is looking for an Assistant to the Purchasing and Maintenance Manager to strengthen its Purchasing team.

Your main duties

Supply & supplier management

• Ensure the management of purchasing activities in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 13485 quality management system.
• Select and qualify new suppliers
• Manage supplier requests (RFI, RFQ)
• Manage subcontracting operations and all logistical aspects, including transport
• Support the logistics manager for the sending and receiving of goods, and replace them if necessary.
• Communicate with suppliers on technical aspects
• Negotiate prices, terms and delivery times
• Place orders with suppliers
• Monitor deadlines and carry out necessary follow-ups
• Handle supplier complaints and ensure follow-up of corrective actions
• Manage supplier billing discrepancies and ensure follow-up of credit notes

Profile sought

Education

• Federal VET Diploma or technician in a technical field
• Or commercial employee with a technically oriented profile

Experience

• Experience in purchasing, supply or a similar role is an asset but not essential

Skills and qualities

• Good interpersonal skills and communication sense
• Rigour, organisational skills and reliability
• Interest in technical aspects and negotiation
• Comfortable with IT tools (MS Office, ERP)
• French: minimum C1 level (spoken and written)
• English: minimum B2 level required (spoken and written)
