Medical Practice Assistant General Medicine Paediatrics (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF65,000 - 80,000Role:
In this role, as a medical practice assistant, you will take on a versatile range of tasks in a lively general medical primary care and paediatrics setting with several doctors. You are responsible for the professional care of patients and ensure a smooth practice workflow. You will work in a well-coordinated, competent practice team and benefit from a pleasant, collegial working atmosphere. Your professional development is supported through targeted assistance with further training and continuing education. The scope of activities is complemented by the use of modern infrastructure with fully electronic medical record keeping.
Responsibilities:
- You professionally welcome patients, manage telephone triage, schedule appointments, and dispense medications within the framework of self-dispensation.
- In this role, you support the doctors during consultations, assist with minor surgical procedures, and care for both children and adults with empathy.
- As a Medical Practice Assistant General Medicine Paediatrics, you perform administrative tasks and ensure correct billing of services.
- You take blood samples and independently conduct various laboratory tests.
- You perform 24-hour blood pressure measurements, resting ECGs, and lung function tests.
- In this role, you responsibly operate X-ray diagnostics and professionally administer injections and infusions.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an MPA with EFZ and X-ray diploma
- High commitment, teamwork skills, and strong sense of responsibility
- Open, motivating personality with a patient-oriented work attitude
- Confident handling of IT systems, especially electronic medical records
- Quick comprehension as well as independent and flexible working style
- Experience in paediatrics or strong interest in this field (advantageous)
