Micromechanic (Stamping / Mould) CFC (M/F)

Job Description

The apprentice micromechanic will participate in the manufacture, machining and assembly of very small components intended for the fields of microtechnology, watchmaking, precision mechanics or medical technology. Supervised by professionals, you will learn to use conventional and CNC machines, to control the quality of the produced parts and to respect extremely fine tolerances.

Main Tasks

• Precision machining -- learning traditional and CNC machining techniques (turning, milling, drilling, grinding, electrical discharge machining)
• Manufacture of micro-parts -- producing components according to technical drawings and strict dimensional requirements
• Assembly and mounting -- assembling mechanical sub-assemblies, handling delicate parts and using precision tools
• Quality control -- checking dimensions, surface conditions and conformity using measuring instruments (micrometer, profile projector, comparator)
• Reading plans -- interpreting technical drawings, understanding tolerances and specifications
• Basic maintenance -- routine maintenance of machines and the workstation
