Your Tasks and Perspectives

• Care and management of emergencies in the largest emergency and HSM trauma centre in the whole of Eastern Switzerland with a broad internal medicine/surgical spectrum and all specialist disciplines in-house
• Leading the shock room in an interdisciplinary team and highly trained emergency nurses
• Highly specialised emergency medical interventions such as NIV/HFNC, analgesic sedation, chest drains, placement of invasive blood pressure monitoring, arterial catheters, etc.
• Diagnosis and treatment of acutely ill and critically endangered patients across the full range of interdisciplinary emergency medicine
• Supervision and professional support of assistant physicians from various specialist clinics

What You Bring to This Position

• Completed specialist medical title (Internal Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Surgery or Orthopaedics)
• ISP Clinical Emergency Medicine SGNOR or motivation to acquire it
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
• Completed ACLS and ATLS courses as well as solid ultrasound knowledge advantageous
• Motivation to work in an interdisciplinary team
