Application Operations Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
Good software only unfolds its benefits when someone reliably keeps it running in everyday use. This is exactly where your work as an Application Operations Specialist begins. In the information systems team, you take care of a versatile landscape of specialised applications and accompany them from rollout to stable operation. Projects bring variety, in which you take responsibility and help shape concepts. Your application management connects technology with the needs of users.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the smooth operation of specialised applications and are the first point of contact for support requests
You successfully implement new applications together with specialist departments, customers and external partners
This also includes leading sub-projects and actively participating in larger IT initiatives
You develop viable IT concepts and also implement them yourself
Furthermore, you maintain documentation and train users on new features
In addition, you plan and conduct tests for releases and newly implemented solutions
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed a degree or further training in computer science or business informatics
You have several years of practical experience in supporting and further developing business applications
Structuring and purposefully managing projects is one of your strengths
You effortlessly translate complex requirements into clear, actionable concepts
Users appreciate your helpful and solution-oriented manner, and you tackle tasks independently
Additionally, you impress with fluent German expression and easily navigate English-language documents
