About the job

Love of Swiss Chocolate for 125 years in Fribourg. Our chocolate factory, founded by Wilhelm Kaiser in 1901, is still present in Fribourg. We make our famous Têtes au Choco, our chocolates with liqueur, and also various types of milk chocolates from the region.

To support the different operational teams, we are looking for a

Machine Operators - 100% (m/f)

Job Purpose

Ensure the operation of one or two complementary machines (mechanised or automated) by applying and enforcing safety, quality, productivity, and environmental standards.

Organisational Chart

You will report to the activity manager or the manager of the autonomous production unit of the relevant sector.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the proper functioning of the machine and the quality of the output products

- Perform self-checks and make corrections if necessary according to established rules

- Participate in level 1 maintenance operations

- Carry out format changes and adjustments

- Perform a complete cleaning of your machine at the end of the shift

- Adopt attire and behaviour in accordance with hygiene and safety standards

Profile sought

Proven first experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic industry

Experience in machine operation

OMA Federal VET Diploma – an advantage

Willing, versatile, with a good team spirit and able to work independently

Good level of French

Shifts in 1x8, 2x8 or 3x8

The candidate must live at a reasonable distance from the workplace (Swiss nationality or B permit)
