Maintenance Agent / Operations Agent CFC

The Les Châtaigniers Association operates a medico-social establishment (EMS), a home help and care organisation (OSAD), as well as an occupational therapy organisation. It considers that the quality of services primarily depends on the women and men who make them possible.

It develops an organisation based on competence, responsibility, trust, transparency and continuous improvement. The Association integrates all its activities into an integrated management approach aimed at guaranteeing the quality of services, the safety of the people supported, the health and safety of its employees, environmental protection and the continuous improvement of its practices.

The role

The maintenance agent ensures the routine upkeep, repairs and maintenance of the buildings, technical installations and equipment of the EMS. He/she ensures their proper functioning as well as the safety of the infrastructure, carries out the necessary checks and reports any malfunctions.

He/she supports the various departments to meet their technical needs. The role may involve irregular working hours as well as on-call duties at night and on weekends.

Your tasks include in particular:

• organising and planning maintenance;
• preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings and installations;
• routine upkeep of buildings;
• technical assistance to residents and their relatives;
• monitoring installations and carrying out periodic checks;
• diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs;
• monitoring the maintenance of medical-technical equipment;
• coordinating external technical and IT service providers;
• managing equipment, spare parts and technical documentation;
• participating in safety measures and informing employees;
• providing first-level IT support as well as monitoring IT, telephone and audiovisual equipment;
• providing logistical support to the various departments.

Profile sought

You meet the following conditions in particular:

• CFC in a relevant technical profession or equivalent qualification;
• proven professional experience in building and technical installation maintenance; experience in EMS or the healthcare sector is an asset;
• recognised qualification to carry out work on company-specific installations in accordance with Art. 13 OIBT, an asset;
• good knowledge of building technical installations and ability to diagnose malfunctions;
• knowledge of safety standards and risk prevention principles;
• good IT skills enabling first-level support and equipment monitoring;
• commitment to the values and institutional project of the Les Châtaigniers Association;
• a versatile, autonomous and organised professional personality, showing discernment, a sense of responsibility and good team spirit;
• strong interest in the elderly care sector and ability to work discreetly in a living environment;
• availability to work irregular hours and on-call shifts as required;
• good command of French, both spoken and written.
