We are recruiting a Legal Consultant to support an international organisation's legal team during a period of increased contractual activity. The successful candidate will review, draft and negotiate procurement and commercial agreements while working closely with senior legal stakeholders.
Legal Consultant - Procurement Contracts (6-Month Assignment)
Our client is a well-established international organisation with a global footprint and a strong public-interest mission. Operating in a multicultural and collaborative environment, the organisation works with a wide range of stakeholders, suppliers and partners across multiple jurisdictions.
As part of an ongoing project, the legal team is seeking additional support to manage a significant volume of procurement and commercial contracts. This assignment offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic legal department and contribute to meaningful international projects.
Description
- Review, draft and negotiate a high volume of procurement-related contracts.
- Support the legal team with framework agreements, commercial agreements, call-off arrangements and supplier contracts.
- Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations.
- Ensure contractual documentation aligns with organisational policies and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across procurement, operations and legal teams.
- Provide day-to-day legal support on commercial and contracting matters.
- Assist with contract management and contribute to process improvement initiatives where required.

Profile
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial and procurement contracts.
- Previous exposure to procurement, sourcing, vendor management or supplier agreements would be highly advantageous.
- Experience gained within an international organisation, multinational company or reputable law firm is preferred.
- Excellent English drafting and communication skills are essential. Additional languages are considered an asset.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and pragmatic approach to legal issues.
