Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Construction, wiring, and commissioning of electrical controls, machines, and automation systems
Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and optimisation work on production facilities
Analysis and troubleshooting of faults in electrical and automated systems
Testing and adjustment of controls as well as support in optimising existing systems
Participation in technical projects and implementation of improvement measures
Coordination of technical tasks and support in planning workflows
Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and production requirements
Technical documentation of completed work and maintenance of relevant records
Support and professional guidance of employees on technical issues
Close collaboration with internal departments to continuously improve system availability
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as an automation technician EFZ or a comparable electrical qualification
Professional experience in automation technology, plant construction, or industrial maintenance
Good knowledge of control, drive, and electrical engineering
Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting automated systems
Knowledge of PLC technology, for example with Siemens controls and TIA Portal, is an advantage
Independent, structured, and responsible working style
Willingness to take responsibility and make technical decisions within own area of responsibility
Teamwork, initiative, and a strong solution orientation
Enjoyment in improving processes and passing on knowledge to other employees
Very good German language skills
