Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you will take on the development and implementation of software for machine applications and components, ensuring that the control platform is continuously maintained and further developed. You will work on requirements analysis as well as the creation of software concepts and architectures and accompany hardware developments in close collaboration with external partners. Additionally, you will competently support internal and external customers with technical queries. With your university of applied sciences or university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field, your experience in embedded software development, and your knowledge of IEC 61131-3 as well as C/C++, you will significantly contribute to the quality and reliability of the solutions. Your analytical, structured working style and your enjoyment of collaborating with international customers enable you to successfully implement demanding projects.
Responsibilities:
- You develop and implement software for machine applications and components
- In this role, you maintain and further develop our control platform
- As an Embedded Software Engineer, you work on requirements analysis as well as software concepts and architectures
- You accompany hardware developments in collaboration with external partners
- In this role, you support our internal and external customers
Qualifications:
- You have a university of applied sciences or university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- You are proficient in the programming languages IEC 61131-3 as well as C/C++
- Ideally, you have knowledge of CODESYS and B&R Automation Studio
- You bring experience in developing software for embedded systems
- You work analytically and in a structured manner
- You enjoy collaborating with international customers
