About the job
The Municipality of Montreux is advertising a position for a:
Main tasks:
- Welcome, listen to and advise users and ensure that the space remains accessible to all without discrimination
- Organise events, activities and workshops that meet or exceed the needs of children and adolescents attending the leisure centre
- Ensure a friendly agreement and a good atmosphere among users
- Maintain order, tranquillity and decency in the premises and assist users in their activities if necessary
- Be responsible for the habitability of the place with the active participation of young people in all stages of its management
- Collaborate with all partners, particularly in associative and/or school environments, in order to promote the sector and its activities
- Implement participatory projects and follow up on the processes
- Identify and prioritise animation needs
- Promote prevention and risk reduction actions related to health and minor delinquency
- Manage goods and their quality
- Participate in budget preparation in collaboration with the responsible youth worker
- Ensure that the premises and the equipment they contain are in working order
Desired profile:
- Bachelor's degree in social work with a focus on socio-cultural animation from a social school (ES) or a university of applied sciences (HES) or equivalent training
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a leisure centre
- Excellent adaptability and decision-making skills
- Sense of responsibility, organisation and public service
- Dynamism, rigour
- Interpersonal skills and ability to be firm
- Collaborative spirit
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Holder of a driving licence for light vehicles (categories B and BE), an advantage
Special conditions:
- Swiss criminal record extract and special criminal record extract to be provided upon hiring
