University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
by arrangement (limited to one year)
The Bern Centre for Eating Disorders (BZE) of the University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, UPD, is looking immediately or by arrangement for an intern (300 working hours or 6-8h per week, duration approx. 1 year) to collaborate on a study with inpatients with anorexia.
Your tasks
- You are currently completing a Bachelor or Master degree in Psychology at the University of Bern and have an interest in empirical research in the field of anorexia
- You are familiar with computer programmes (Word and Excel) and are looking for an opportunity to gain professional experience in project-oriented clinical work
- Prior knowledge in psychological diagnostics (e.g. conducting semi-structured interviews) is an advantage
- Active, conscientious and reliable collaboration in an interdisciplinary team (medicine, psychology, nursing) and willingness to accompany measurements early in the morning in Moosseedorf are expected
Your profile
- You will participate in our WASA study, which investigates the relationship between weight anxiety and psychological-biophysiological reactions
- In this role, you will support us in psychological diagnostics (data entry & management, clinical measurements before breakfast at the clinic in Moosseedorf and outreach in families)
- In addition, you will gain comprehensive content and organisational insight into the multimodal, professional work at the Bern Centre for Eating Disorders (BZE)
- The internship is unpaid
