Job Description
On behalf of a leading biopharmaceutical company based in the canton of Geneva, we are looking for a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate to join the Cell Line Development (CLD) team.
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Contract: Temporary assignment (6 months - replacement)
Start date: As soon as possible (ASAP)
Working hours: Full-time (40h/week)
Your responsibilities:
- Development of stable cell lines for the production of recombinant therapeutic proteins (including transfection, clone selection, and cryopreservation).
- Monitoring cell growth and evaluating laboratory performance.
- Efficient data collection and comprehensive documentation of the programme in compliance with ICH guidelines.
- Proper management of project-related materials and strict adherence to internal procedures and SOPs.
Your profile:
- Education: Holder of a Master’s degree in sciences (highly motivated recent graduates are welcome) OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is essential for this position, in addition to French.
- Technical skills: Strong knowledge of cell culture (mammalian cells and diatoms) as well as protein purification and analysis.
- Major advantage: Familiarity or initial experience with laboratory equipment such as Guava Cell Count, CytoFlex, ViCell Blu or NormaXS will guarantee an interview invitation.
- Soft skills: You are autonomous, creative, and possess excellent communication skills.
