Senior Embedded Software Engineer - AI 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

You develop innovative AI-based embedded solutions for pioneering products and bring machine learning directly onto the hardware. In doing so, you work closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimise intelligent algorithms and integrate them into embedded systems. You are responsible for implementing AI models on resource-constrained systems and ensuring their efficient performance. Additionally, you develop software architectures for edge AI applications and conduct code reviews as well as technical documentation.

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in embedded software development (C/C++)

• Profound knowledge of machine learning and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, ONNX)

• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded platforms (ARM Cortex, ESP32, Raspberry Pi)

• Knowledge in optimising AI models for edge devices (quantisation, pruning)

• Understanding of RTOS and low-level programming

• Experience with version control (Git) and agile development methods

• Very good German and English skills

• Team spirit and strong communication skills
