Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a technically skilled individual as a Service Technician for an established company in electric machines and drive technology. The employer offers a practical environment with demanding electric motors, generators and gearboxes as well as varied tasks in service, overhaul and maintenance.
In this role, you will take on the maintenance, overhaul and repair of electrical drive systems. You will work on both electrical and mechanical components and ensure the reliable operation of the systems and drives.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out overhauls, maintenance and repairs on electric motors, generators and gearboxes
Dismantling and assembling electrical drives
Assembly and processing of mechanical components
Performing service and maintenance work
Troubleshooting and resolving technical faults
Testing and commissioning repaired components
Documenting the performed service and repair work
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship as automation technician, electrical machine builder, polymechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, plant and apparatus builder or comparable
Experience in service, assembly or maintenance is an advantage
Good knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering
Technical understanding of drive systems
Experience handling electrical and mechanical components
Independent execution of technical service tasks
