At Lavaux Hospital, our human-scale medical team includes, among others, six assistant doctors who cover mandates from six months to one year. Aware of and committed to our role in the basic training of tomorrow's caregivers, we also actively collaborate with regional nursing schools and welcome around twenty nursing students per year, as well as APS, ASSC, occupational therapy and Red Cross interns.

To strengthen our catering team, we are looking for a Production Manager to oversee culinary production and supervise kitchen teams.
Your responsibilities
Reporting to the Head Chef, you are responsible for the smooth running of production, the quality of culinary services and compliance with hygiene and safety standards. You also manage the production team and actively participate in the development of the service.
In this role, you will notably be required to:
- Organise, coordinate and supervise the daily production of meals as well as their distribution in the various points of sale and unit offices
- Ensure the gustatory, nutritional and sanitary quality of services, respecting institutional requirements and sustainable development principles
- Ensure compliance with and monitoring of HACCP standards and self-monitoring procedures
- Participate in menu development in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Manage food stocks, supplies and contribute to optimising the supply chain
- Supervise equipment maintenance and ensure their rational use
- Participate in the administrative and financial monitoring of the service and respect the allocated budget
- Supervise, support and evaluate kitchen staff, apprentices, interns and civilian service personnel
- Organise team activities, ensure cover in case of absence and promote a collaborative working climate
- Actively participate in quality initiatives and continuous service improvement
Your profile
Technical skills
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a cook or equivalent qualification
- Federal diploma as head chef
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an equivalent position
- Proven experience in team management and leadership
- Experience in training and supervising apprentices
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP standards and food hygiene rules
- Good command of common IT tools (Office Suite)
