Join us for a strategic mission as a Laboratory Technician with our client Nestlé Nespresso Switzerland SA in Romont.

Your role:

• Perform physico-chemical and chromatographic analyses within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, strictly adhering to analysis methods and quality standards.

• Ensure entry, monitoring and validation of analytical results within deadlines, guaranteeing impeccable traceability.

• Use, calibrate and maintain specialised laboratory equipment (HPLC, Karl Fischer titration, precision balances, etc.) in good working order.

• Handle chemicals and reagents safely by rigorously applying safety data sheets (SDS) and environmental instructions.

• Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (lab coat, safety glasses, appropriate gloves, safety shoes) and maintain cleanliness of the workstation.

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, method optimisation (Minitab) and daily problem-solving.

Profile sought:

• Completed training in chemistry (CFC Laboratory Technician in Chemistry or equivalent diploma).

• Proven experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory, ideally in an ISO 17025 environment.

• Proficiency in safe handling of chemical agents and strict adherence to safety, hygiene and quality rules.

• Comfortable with laboratory IT tools, data acquisition and processing of analytical data.

• Flexibility and availability to work variable hours.

• Strong analytical mindset, organisational rigour and proactivity in problem-solving.

• Excellent command of French and good level of English (minimum B1 level desired).
