Junior Buyer
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for strategic purchasing and implementation of the procurement strategy of our establishments
- Conducting demand, market, and quantity analyses as well as tenders
- Searching for, selecting, and evaluating suppliers including supplier meetings and audits
- Maintaining the assortment list and article master data as well as searching for product alternatives
- Purchasing controlling, invoice verification, as well as risk and complaint management
- Close cooperation with development, QS/QM, project management, and the operational purchasing of the establishments
Requirements
- Completed commercial training with further education in purchasing or a degree in business administration or supply chain management
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the gastronomy or food industry
- Negotiation skills and confident appearance towards suppliers
- Analytical, structured working style and enjoyment of numbers and process optimisation
- Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
