Scheuchzer SA specialises in mechanised maintenance of railway tracks. Since 1947, we have been designing, building, operating, and maintaining our own machines to meet the demands of railway networks in Switzerland and Europe.

To strengthen our IT department, we are looking for a mission until July 2027 for a:

Helpdesk IT Technician (M/F) – 100%

Your mission

Integrated into the IT department, you contribute to the smooth running of our IT environment and provide close support to our employees.

You will notably be responsible for:

• Providing level 1 and 2 IT support and assisting users in resolving incidents;
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, peripherals, software, and other IT tools;
• Managing and monitoring the IT equipment;
• Participating in user administration, access rights, and the Microsoft environment;
• Contributing to the proper functioning of the network infrastructure, servers, backup systems, and virtualisation;
• Raising awareness and supporting employees in the proper use of tools and adherence to IT practices;
• Participating in technological watch and continuous improvement of our IT environment.

Your profile

• You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an IT technician or have several years of experience in IT support and maintenance;
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows Server environments;
• You are comfortable managing users and environments such as Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange;
• You have knowledge of networks, servers, Wi-Fi, and virtualisation;
• You are familiar with backup and IT deployment solutions;
• Versatile and solution-oriented, you enjoy user contact and can communicate clearly and accessibly;
• You demonstrate autonomy, rigour, and good organisational and prioritisation skills;
• You are proficient in French and technical English. German would be an asset.
