Your Tasks and Perspectives

Independent care of outpatient and inpatient patients with vascular surgical diseases as well as independently running a specialised consultation at the main site and, if applicable, at external locations
Deployment in the operating theatre, emergency department and during endovascular procedures with independent surgical-operative and endovascular treatment of vascular surgical conditions
Close supervision of assistant physicians and the Physician Associate in the department, operating theatre and during their consultations
Medical representation (internally and externally) of vascular surgery at various interdisciplinary colloquia (e.g. vascular, neurovascular, dialysis and diabetic foot) and in emergencies
Deepening independence in a defined vascular surgical spectrum

Completed medical studies recognised in Switzerland as well as specialist title in vascular surgery with proven experience across large parts of the vascular treatment spectrum
Ability and enthusiasm for patient-oriented, interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration as well as demanding open and endovascular surgery with corresponding manual dexterity and commitment
Good communication skills and high social competence as well as resilience and flexibility
Enjoy working in a small and motivated team as well as pleasure in passing on skills and knowledge
Interest in rapid personal and professional development as well as taking on responsibility

Further education and training at one of the leading interdisciplinary vascular centres with a full treatment spectrum including specially maintained open vascular surgery
State-of-the-art infrastructure with hybrid operating theatre and professionalised ward care with Physician Associates
Involvement in lecturing activities at the Medical Master of HSG/UZH School of Medicine with regular student supervision
