Field Service Engineer CH
As a Field Service Engineer, you are the central interface between our state-of-the-art machines and our customers worldwide – from commissioning through modifications, inspections, repairs and maintenance to fault analysis, training of customer personnel and technical support for sales and purchasing, you contribute significantly to the safe, efficient and successful use of our equipment.
This is where you will excel
- You are responsible for commissioning and service work such as modifications, inspections, repairs and maintenance of individual machines, systems and controls at home and abroad
- You ensure acceptance and handover to the customer and prepare service documentation
- You are responsible for fault analysis and troubleshooting on site
- You enjoy instructing and training customer personnel
- You support sales with technical questions and services as well as the purchasing team through advice during the service assignment
These are the required skills
- Completed training in mechanical and plant engineering (polymechanic, mechatronics technician, automation technician, etc.) ideally combined with further training in PLC, pneumatics or hydraulics
- Experience in commissioning machines and systems
- Very good communication skills in English, additional language skills such as German are an advantage
- Independent and problem-oriented working style as well as high service orientation and "hands-on mentality"
- Willingness to travel up to 100% within Switzerland (assignments in the EU abroad may occur if necessary)
