Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the design, development, and optimisation of BI solutions with Qlik Sense. You analyse complex data sources, model data, and prepare it so that well-founded decisions can be made on a clear, visual basis. You also define standards and best practices in the BI environment and ensure that data quality and consistency are always guaranteed. As a Senior BI Specialist, you advise professional stakeholders, translate their requirements into efficient dashboards and reports, and drive the continuous development of the BI landscape.
Responsibilities:
You develop meaningful dashboards, analyses, and reports with Qlik Sense and ensure their continuous development.
You design new analytics services and bring data-based planning, predictive analytics, and AI into concrete business applications.
You operate and optimise the existing analytics platform and specifically develop the on-premises tool stack further.
You establish best practices for BI, data science, and artificial intelligence and support the team in building modern analytical competencies.
You advise departments on requirements definition, translate complex issues into actionable solutions, and promote data literacy within the company.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, or a comparable qualification.
You bring several years of in-depth experience with Qlik Sense, ideally in a locally operated analytics environment.
You have solid experience in machine learning and data science as well as very good Python skills.
You understand ETL, data modelling, and relational databases and ideally know MSSQL, Talend, and SAP S/4HANA.
You work in a structured, quality-conscious, and proactive manner, can communicate analytical content clearly, and communicate confidently in German; English skills are a plus.
