Team Leader: Nursing

The University Clinics for Visceral Surgery and Medicine, Nephrology, Urology and Thoracic Surgery form the Abdominal Medicine Department. The University Clinic for Urology offers a wide range of diagnostics and therapies for all urological diseases. A variety of complex assessments and specialised procedures are regularly performed. As a university clinic, we are actively involved in teaching and research to develop and evaluate new treatment methods.

What to expect

• You will lead a dedicated nursing team (10-15 employees) of the ward/week clinic (27 beds) both professionally and personally
• You support and promote the further development of your employees and create a motivating working atmosphere
• You share responsibility for quality assurance in nursing within the shared governance team
• You are responsible for implementing professional nursing and care according to the defined professional standards/SOPs
• You coordinate interface work with the medical staff, therapy services and management
• You actively participate in the core business
• You are responsible for administrative and organisational tasks of the wards
• You actively contribute to organisational and conceptual tasks as well as projects and change processes

What you bring

• You have a qualification as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH
• You bring solid nursing experience, ideally also in a leadership position
• You hold a recognised leadership qualification (e.g. CAS/DAS) or are willing to complete a leadership training
• You have organisational talent, are a strong leader and keep an overview even in stressful situations
• You are empathetic and know how to inspire your team with clear communication
• You possess good IT skills (MS Office, ERP systems)
• Foreign language skills in French/Italian complete your profile
