Mission
Within the Methods Division, this position involves organising and managing the activities of the industrial design office. The mission includes uniting, supervising and developing the skills of the employees attached to this entity.
Responsibilities
Industrialisation and Support: Ensure the delivery of manufacturing plans and tooling required for the industrialisation of new products as well as technical support in production, particularly for the clothing and casing sectors.
Workflow Management: Distribute and monitor the workload of the office to guarantee deadlines are met, while ensuring the maintenance of quality and craftsmanship standards specific to the manufacture.
Technical Reference: Maintain and develop the design reference in close collaboration with the relevant workshops.
Management: Lead, motivate and develop a technical team.
Optimisation: Seek solutions to optimise design times in synergy with the team.
Skills Development: Ensure the versatility of employees through on-site support and training actions.
Reporting: Provide regular communication of performance indicators to the Methods department hierarchy.
Profile Sought
Education: Holder of an engineering degree or higher education (university / HES level) in mechanics or industrial design.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing a technical team in the micromechanics or watchmaking industry.
Professional Expertise: Strong knowledge of watchmaking products and processes, ideally in the clothing domain (cases, straps, etc.).
Technical Tools: Confirmed mastery of SolidWorks software and common design tools (FMEA, GPS, dimension chains).
Personal Skills: Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities, interpersonal skills and proactivity. Experience in project management is an additional asset.
