Inpatient obstetrics includes the prenatal ward and the mother-child ward. We care for pregnant women, mothers, and newborns – from uncomplicated births to high-risk pregnancies and medical complications. You are central to the professional support, advice, and care of our patients. You use your expertise to ensure individual care at the highest level.

What to expect

• Monitoring of the child’s development and the mother’s health
• Implementation of therapies, including complementary medical methods
• Comprehensive counselling of the pregnant woman and her relatives
• Ongoing monitoring of the development of mother and child
• Implementation of therapies, also involving complementary medical procedures
• Care and psychological support for pregnant women and parents in challenging courses and stressful situations
• Professional support and promotion of students

What you bring

• Completed training as a midwife or qualified nurse HF/FH
• Strong team skills as well as high social and professional competence
• Openness and interest in cultural diversity
• Enjoyment in comprehensively caring for and advising pregnant women and new mothers in challenging situations
• Resilience and flexibility for shift work
• In addition to German, other language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
• Confident handling of technical devices and good IT skills
