The Outpatient Clinic for Chiropractic Medicine at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich is the centre of expertise in the German-speaking part of Switzerland for the outpatient treatment of patients with musculoskeletal complaints, focusing on back pain. Our patients benefit both from the proximity to research and teaching as well as from the good interprofessional collaboration within the Balgrist University Hospital.

Your tasks
- Management of the Outpatient Clinic for Chiropractic Medicine at the Balgrist University Hospital
- Direct involvement in patient care
- Representation of the Outpatient Clinic within the Balgrist University Hospital
- (Co-)supervision of assistant chiropractors as well as support of chiropractors at assistant and senior physician level
- Conceptual work in the areas of further education and training as well as hospital rotations
- Implementation and further development of the service offering for patient care, e.g. geriatrics and pregnancy, in collaboration with the management of the Chiropractic Medicine Department
- Participation in the deepening and formalisation of a biopsychosocial treatment approach
Your profile
- Specialist chiropractor, ideally with Principal status, or open to becoming a Principal
- Clinical work with personal responsibility: You want to take responsibility in a small team to optimally shape and further advance the chiropractic care of patients together with chiropractors at assistant and senior physician level.
- With your professional and social competence, you understand the needs and concerns of people with back pain and other musculoskeletal complaints and use interdisciplinary collaboration for this. You also understand the needs and concerns of all employees in the Chiropractic Medicine Department at the Balgrist University Hospital
- Leadership experience, quality and sense of responsibility as well as flexibility
- Interest in research and teaching
