For a manufacturing company environment, a committed individual is sought as Business Application Manager. In this versatile role, you take responsibility for central business applications and form an important interface between departments, IT and external technology partners.
You accompany applications throughout their entire lifecycle, analyse requirements and implement sustainable solutions together with various stakeholders. In addition to operational application management, the position offers scope for IT project management and process optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the operation and further development of business applications such as ERP, CAQ, EDI, CAD, PLM or MES
Planning, coordination and implementation of small to medium-sized IT projects
Recording, analysing and documenting requirements in collaboration with the departments
Coordination between business, IT, support as well as internal and external partners
Sub-project management for system introductions, updates and further developments
Creation of concepts and specifications as well as maintenance of system documentation and support for user training
Qualifications:
Experience in application management and handling business applications such as ERP, EDI, CAQ or comparable systems
Ideally professional experience in a manufacturing or trading company
Experience in IT project management and coordination of various stakeholders
Good understanding of business and production processes
Structured, independent and responsible way of working
Communicative personality with technical understanding and very good German skills
