- Location: Delémont - Intensive Care Unit
- Start of assignment: As soon as possible
- Duration: Replacement until the end of September (approximately)
- Work rate: 80 to 100 %
Job Description
Within an intensive care unit, you will be required to:
- Ensure comprehensive care of critically ill patients.
- Continuously monitor vital signs and quickly detect any clinical changes.
- Administer prescribed treatments and manage complex therapies.
- Care for patients under invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Use and monitor specific intensive care equipment (monitoring, syringe pumps, ventilators, etc.).
- Work closely with doctors and the entire multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in emergency situations and resuscitation procedures.
- Ensure care traceability and guarantee accurate information handover.
- Support patients and their relatives with professionalism, kindness and empathy.
- Ensure compliance with protocols, quality and safety standards.
Profile Sought
We are looking for an autonomous, rigorous professional with an excellent sense of responsibility.
You possess:
- A nursing diploma recognised in Switzerland.
- Ideally the EPD ES in intensive care.
- At least 2 years of experience in intensive care or resuscitation.
- Recent experience in emergency care may also be considered.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills in complex situations.
- A very good team spirit and effective communication.
- Reactivity, organisation and a great capacity to adapt.
