Senior Consultant Gastroenterology and Hepatology (m/f)

This is what the professional everyday life looks like

• Conducting own clinics and active participation in the gastroenterological and internal medicine service operations
• Involvement in the broad outpatient and inpatient care in gastroenterology and hepatology
• Active participation in internal and external training events of the clinic
• Taking on leadership and training responsibilities for young doctors
• Living the Lean philosophy in a well-coordinated team consisting of medical staff and nursing professionals
• The scope of duties includes all modern examination methods such as endoscopy as well as, depending on qualification, ERCP, including endosonography intervention and functional diagnostics
• Gastroenterology and Hepatology is an independent clinic and part of the certified colorectal cancer centre at KSBL. It is associated with the University Centre for Internal Medicine and, together with the Clinic for Visceral Surgery, forms the Abdomen Centre at the Cantonal Hospital Baselland

Competences and potential

• Completed specialist training in gastroenterology
• Completed specialist training in general internal medicine desired
• Extensive experience in endoscopy
• Understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Team-oriented, resilient and communicative personality
