BIM Modeller (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a specialist in BIM modelling and digital data management for demanding projects in underground construction and geotechnics. You will create and manage 3D building models, structure model data, and support project teams with cost estimates and specifications. The focus is on BIM data management, CAD/modelling software, model coordination, and model-based planning processes. Additionally, you will contribute to the evaluation of new digital tools and the further development of BIM standards and workflows.
Responsibilities:
Creation and further development of 3D building models for projects in underground construction, civil engineering, and geotechnics
Structuring, maintenance, and quality assurance of BIM model data, attributes, and object properties
Use of models for cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and specifications
Coordination and further processing of BIM models and planning documents across various project and planning phases
Alignment of models with project teams, specialist planners, and external project participants
Conducting model checks and quality controls and ensuring consistent and up-to-date model data
Support of the used CAD, BIM, and modelling programmes and ensuring their project-related availability
Evaluation and validation of new software solutions, digital tools, and BIM systems
Development and implementation of BIM processes, modelling standards, and digital workflows
Support of project teams in model-based planning, data management, and digital information exchange
Professional support and training of employees in the introduction of new BIM tools and working methods
Qualifications:
Completed training as a draftsperson EFZ specialising in civil engineering or degree as a engineer FH/ETH in a relevant field
Professional experience in civil or infrastructure engineering, ideally related to underground construction or geotechnics
Good user knowledge of CAD and BIM modelling software as well as experience in creating and editing 3D models
Knowledge of BIM data management, model attribution, and model-based planning processes
Good German language skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
