Your Tasks
Designing streets and squares: In an attractive working environment, you design and plan future-proof streets and squares and develop solutions for urban and climate-friendly mobility, taking into account the needs of all road users.
Managing projects: You independently develop and manage preliminary projects in public spaces and represent the department's interests in preliminary studies, construction projects, and towards the public.
Working together: Together with a motivated team of traffic and open space planners and in close cooperation with other specialist offices, you shape the mobility of tomorrow and implement future-proof solutions.
Presenting work: You represent your work in expert committees as well as to the public and politicians.
Your Profile
Experience: You have experience in managing and coordinating infrastructure projects and are up to date with traffic planning in Switzerland. Good CAD skills complete your profile.
Personality: You are a team-oriented and engaging person who can convince others with your motivation and enthusiasm. You communicate factually, fluently, and appropriately with various interest groups, the public, and politicians.
Education: You have a university degree (ETH, University, University of Applied Sciences) in civil engineering or a comparable course of study, preferably with a focus on traffic planning.

Urban Planning & Architecture (U&A) of the Department of Construction and Transport manages spatial and architectural developments of cantonal buildings, public spaces, and districts up to the trinational agglomeration.
