Service Technician

In this versatile position, you are the central technical contact point for service technicians, customers and internal departments, ensuring smooth and high-quality service through your solution-oriented support.

Your tasks:

• Main contact person for field service technicians (2nd level)
• Central contact point for technical questions within the company
• Telephone support internally & externally (approx. 70%)
• Technical support for customers, dealers and internal employees
• Interface between service, sales and technology (bridging function)
• Control and recording of repair receipts
• Creation of repair accompanying documents, quotations and delivery notes
• Preparation of offers for repairs and calibrations
• Processing of credit notes
• Recording defective parts in the system and organising shipping to Austria
• Maintenance of documentation and correct administrative handling of service processes
• Carrying out repairs (approx. 10% of the activity)
• Responsible for maintenance work in the company
• Ensuring technical quality in repairs and calibrations
• Purchasing measuring instruments, tools and workshop inventory
• Conducting training for service staff and customers
• Supporting employees with complex technical issues

Your profile:

• Completed electrical engineering vocational training
• Authorisation to carry out electrical repairs
• Basic knowledge of welding processes E-hand, TIG, MIG/MAG is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in a service function, ideally in welding technology
• Strong expertise in technical troubleshooting
• Service-oriented, precise and independent working style
• Driving licence B
• German spoken and written
• English is an advantage
