Design Engineer

For our client, an innovative company in the Zurich area, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed and precise design engineer (m/f/d) with solid knowledge in SolidWorks or Siemens NX.

Your Tasks:

• Development & Design: Independently creating complex 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings with SolidWorks or Siemens NX.

• Project Management: Dedicated collaboration in the development of new products and assemblies – from the initial idea to series production readiness.

• Interface Work: Close cooperation with production, work preparation (AVOR) and external suppliers for manufacturing-oriented design.

• Data Management: Creation and maintenance of parts lists, master data and technical documentation in the PDM/PLM system.

• Optimisation: Continuous development of existing components as well as CIP (Continuous Improvement Process).

• Education: Successfully completed basic training as a design engineer EFZ, mechanical draughtsperson or comparable technical qualification.

• CAD Expert: Routine and proficient handling of SolidWorks and/or Siemens NX.

• Expertise: Solid understanding of manufacturing techniques (e.g. machining, sheet metal processing, casting) and materials.

• Working Method: Precise, structured and solution-oriented working style with a high quality standard.

• Languages: Very good German skills in spoken and written form (English advantageous).
