Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at customers on time and in Baumer quality.

In our electronics production, you operate and monitor modern SMT placement lines and work with automated manufacturing equipment at the latest state of the art. You ensure that production processes run efficiently, stably and with impeccable quality. What I do

• You operate, monitor and set up our modern SMT placement lines including printers, placement machines and reflow soldering systems and ensure reliable production operation.
• You perform material changes and feeder setups and ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
• You carry out quality, first article and process inspections, document relevant production and quality data and ensure compliance with our high-quality standards.
• You independently resolve minor equipment malfunctions and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes as well as the implementation of the 5S principles.

What it takes

• You bring technical understanding and interest in machines, equipment and manufacturing processes, ideally complemented by experience in electronics production.
• You work carefully, reliably and with quality awareness and take responsibility for your work results.
• You recognise irregularities early, keep an overview even during ongoing processes and act in a solution-oriented manner.
• You are willing to work shifts and bring the necessary flexibility for everyday production.
