Application Manager Clinical Systems (m/f/d)
The ROCKEN partner is an independent, university competence centre for paediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as for teaching and research. Around 900 employees dedicate themselves daily with their commitment and professional and scientific expertise to the medical care of patients. Role:
An engaged individual is sought to support and further develop central clinical applications. In this role, you will play an important part between medical departments, IT, and external technology partners.
You will accompany the entire lifecycle of clinical applications – from requirements and changes through releases to support and optimisation. You will work closely with specialist departments and interdisciplinary project teams.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the operation and further development of clinical information systems
Recording, specifying, and technically implementing requirements from specialist departments
Planning and implementing changes and releases
Handling incidents and application queries at 2nd level as well as coordinating with external partners
Supporting key users and creating documentation, instructions, and mockups
Participating in interdisciplinary projects and subject-related working groups
Qualifications:
University degree in computer science, medical informatics, or comparable education with an IT focus
Strong affinity for the clinical or medical environment
At least 3 years of professional experience in application management or a comparable IT environment
Experience in project work and 2nd level support
Knowledge of medical interfaces such as HL7 or FHIR is an advantage
Customer-oriented, structured, and solution-focused personality with openness to agile working methods
