IT System Engineer - Microsoft Solutions (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you take on a dual function as an ICT System Engineer and Technical Account Manager and are the technical contact person for your customers, whose IT infrastructure you reliably keep running. You independently plan, implement, and operate modern Microsoft hybrid cloud and on-premise environments, combining your technical know-how with a clear understanding of your customers’ needs. You analyse customer requirements, propose suitable solutions and developments, and independently implement these from consulting to execution. Additionally, you are responsible for maintenance and change work, provide 2nd-level support, assist 1st-level support with complex cases, and participate in pre- and post-sales processes. Through your structured, customer-oriented working style, you significantly contribute to continuously optimising and further developing your customers’ IT systems.
Responsibilities:
You support 10-15 SME customers as a technical trusted advisor and develop their IT environment further
You independently carry out M365/Azure migrations, hybrid cloud, modern workplace, and security hardening
In complex 2nd-level escalations, you find appropriate solutions and work closely with the specialist and engineering teams
Your tech stack includes Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Hyper-V, Veeam, and Windows Server
Qualifications:
Completed IT training and several years of experience as a system engineer in the Microsoft environment
Sound knowledge of M365, Entra ID, Azure, and Windows Server as well as experience with Hyper-V and Veeam
Enjoyment of customer contact and understanding of the requirements of SMEs
You understand Swiss German and master German fluently in writing and speaking
