Client Engineer / System Technician Windows Software Distribution (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for the operation and further development of Windows software distribution within a stable, future-oriented client infrastructure
• Continuous advancement of the automation of operating systems, drivers, applications, and processes using management tools and scripting
• Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Technical support for the IT team in the operation, further development, and support of the deployed systems and applications
• Implementation of security-relevant changes and measures to protect and stabilise the ICT infrastructure

Our Requirements

• Higher education in computer science and several years of professional experience in Client Engineering
• Sound knowledge in packaging and distribution of Windows software
• Experience in automating client environments using group policies and scripting
• Broad technical understanding of end user computing, networks, and ICT security
• Analytical, conceptual thinking as well as a structured, independent, and responsible working style
• Resilience, ability to prioritise, and solution orientation even in a dynamic environment
• Fluent German skills and good English skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional on-call duties
• Driving licence category B
• Experience with Matrix42 Empirum is an advantage
