The BÂLE HOTELS GROUP unites six hotels and two conference centres under one roof, representing hospitality, utmost comfort, and a passion for gastronomy. The charming, stylish Boutique Hotel "Märthof" at the Market Square with 68 unique rooms was opened in July 2021, in the best location in the heart of Basel’s historic old town with views over the Market Square. The lively "Brasserie Bohemia" with boulevard café directly on the Market Square, first-class event facilities for up to 40 people, and a panoramic roof terrace for our hotel guests demonstrate the diversity of the house, entirely in line with our motto "Savoir vivre in the heart of Basel".

Receptionist - Boutique Hotel Märthof
Responsibilities
Together with your team, you are responsible for the smooth running of the reception.
The main tasks include:
- Check-in and check-out
- Guest care and concierge duties
- Active upselling
- Telephone service
- Receipt and processing of individual reservations
- Guest correspondence
- Various administrative tasks
Requirements
- Completed training in hospitality and initial experience at the reception is an advantage
- Fluent German and English, spoken and written
- Good French skills and Opera knowledge are advantageous
- Reliable, team-oriented, flexible, resilient with an open demeanour
- Motivation, passion for the profession, and enjoyment of work
- Well-groomed appearance, good manners
- High commitment including weekends and public holidays
