Tasks
Issuance: You draft employment decisions, penal orders and correspondence based on templates.
Minute taking: You take minutes at meetings and operations.
Contact person: You are the contact person for internal and external matters.
Secretariat: You perform general secretarial duties, are also deployed as investigative assistance and thus support the investigators with their administrative tasks.
Profile
Experience: You have several years of professional experience in a comparable role. An impeccable reputation as well as a category B driving licence are indispensable.
Personality: You are a committed individual and your strengths include precise and rapid working methods, flexibility, mental resilience, assertiveness, teamwork skills and a quick grasp.
Education: You have completed a 3-year commercial apprenticeship (EFZ).
Language: You have flawless oral and written German skills.

The Public Prosecutor's Office Basel-Stadt, which is administratively attached to the Department of Justice and Security, conducts criminal proceedings for crimes, offences and violations. It brings charges and issues penal orders as well as other final decisions such as dismissal, suspension, non-prosecution or transfer. Additionally, the Public Prosecutor's Office provides both national and international legal assistance in criminal matters. These tasks are central to the judiciary and the safety of the people in Basel-Stadt and beyond.
