The positions are attached to the Department of Clinical Neurosciences . This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and otorhinolaryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation).
The department's objective is to guide patients towards regaining their autonomy through education, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures both the operation of patients and their support, to promote early return home. In the same spirit, outpatient care is also prioritised and surgical activity optimised to facilitate access to care within a reasonable timeframe.
The neurosurgery service provides personalised comprehensive care to patients with neurosurgical conditions (vascular neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, pituitary disorders, brain tumours, skull base, spine, hydrocephalus and cerebrospinal fluid disorders).
Within the framework of focused ultrasound interventions to treat tremor in patients with essential tremor or Parkinson’s disease, you are responsible for the technical aspect of the interventions, under the supervision of neurosurgeons.
